Firm History
Greystone West was founded by Todd Lee in 1997 as a California C-Corporation and licensed California General Building Contractor. Since its inception, the company has established a strong reputation for responsiveness to client needs, accurate budget and schedule development, commitment to long-term staff assignments, and efficiency in program and project management. These core values have established Greystone West as a trusted partner in public school facilities, public works construction, and comprehensive program and project management services in Northern California.
Firm leadership
Todd Lee, Principal Emeritus
As the Founding Principal of Greystone West Company, Todd Lee spent much of his career building the firm from the ground up, establishing it as a trusted name in Program and Project Management in Northern California. As Principal Emeritus, Todd continues to serve as a trusted strategic advisor to our senior staff while also providing construction cost-estimating for many of the firm’s projects.
Damien Lee, Principal
Damien Lee serves as Principal of Greystone West Company, where he leads the firm’s operations and strategic planning.
With over 21 years of experience, Damien’s expertise includes project and program management, information technology, business development, operations and finance. Before becoming Principal, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Principal in Charge, managing programs for multiple clients across the bay area.
Damien holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hawaii Pacific University.
Jason Cave, Vice President
Jason Cave serves as a Vice President for Greystone West Company, overseeing staffing alignment and program and project management across the Central and South Bay.
Since joining Greystone in 2009, Jason has progressed through several leadership roles including Senior Project Manager and Project & Program Executive before being appointed Vice President. Jason excels at managing and scaling high-performing teams, driving operational excellence and leading continuous improvement across all phases of program and project management.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from San Diego State University
John Dilena, Vice President
John Dilena serves as Vice President for Greystone West, overseeing business development and program and project management for our North Bay and Central Valley operations.
With over three decades of experience in the construction industry, John excels in forging strong relationships with clients and industry colleagues. He serves as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through every phase of the construction process. Before becoming Vice President, he served as a Senior Project Manager and Project & Program Executive for the firm.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California State University Chico.
